Prison Ministry: Leader is Phil Poore

The Prison Ministry was started 15  years ago at MCI Concord by Mike Daigle,
who is now employed as a prison chaplain.  Due to state relations, Mike no longer
does volunteer work in the prisons, but oversees the team and offers them guidance,
support, and prayers.

MCI Framingham (women's facility)

Team - Phil Poore, Vicki Poore and Gail Holland
The team Ministers to the women by leading a Christian 12 step program
and participating in the midweek worship service every Wednesday.

South Middlesex Correctional Center (women's facility)

Team - Phil Poore, Laurie Andrews and Vicki Poore
The team goes in on Mondays to do a Christian 12 step program
and to minister God's love to the women.


MCI Concord (men's facility)

Team - Phil & Vicki Poore, Minor & Carol Davis
This team goes in to Concord Prison one Sunday a month to participate
in a Sunday service and minister Gods love to the men.

MCI Cedar Junction--Walpole (men's facility)

Team - Phil Poore and Bob Lussier
This team goes in on Mondays to do a Christian 12-step program
and to minister God's love to the men.

Bay State Correctional Center (men's facility)

Team: Phil Poore and Roy Johnson
Monthly Sunday evening service (Phil Poore)
Quarterly Sunday morning service (Phil Poore, Roy Johnson)
Weekly Wednesday evening "disciples" session/Bible study
(Roy Johnson).

Shepherding Our Sisters (S.O.S.)

Team - Phil Poore, Vicki Vento, Lori Geary, Flo Wilson and Pastor Gerald Gourd
Shepherding Our Sisters is a ministry dedicated to assisting Christian women in Massachusetts find support and resources to reintegrate into society following incarceration.  The ministry helps women find churches, provides pen pals for incarcerated women and operates Grace House, a transitional home for women.  For more information see their website www.sosministries.info
